Joining us at The Stitch House Club House is a terrific way to make new friends, who share an interest in sewing and machine embroidery. Everyone is welcome to come along to our Club House at The Stitch House. The Club House is an initiative which offers projects, skills, tips on accessories and lots of other interesting information. Everyone is welcome.

We had a wonderful day today in our new store. It's been a crazy week with our the Grand Opening and lots of people joined us with some fabulous show and tell and a cute little project.

After a bizarre year we managed to hold a Bernina Club Christmas Party at our neighbouring Thai restaurant. The evening was welcomed by many after not being able to see each other throughout the year at Bernina Club. There were many laughs and lots of wonderful COVID projects on display. There is so much talent amongst our Bernina family. We wish everyone a great 2021!

The Bernina Fabric has been ordered and we will contact those that order this as soon as it arrives in store. Next month we hope to cover the maintenance on the Bernina 8 Series following on from the Bernina 7 series this month.

Bernina Club, March 2019 was a great start to the year. A special thanks to Joy Harvey, Bernina Queensland Area Manager, for a great showcase presentation of the Bernina B700. Ladies, we loved your show and tell.

6 Inch Block Challenge
1 Finished 6” Block (need to measure 6.5” square)
Design is to be Non Gender Specific
Be as Creative as you like
Whilst hand sewing will be permitted it will not form part of the judging
Don't finish off the blocks because blocks will be sewn together by Bernina Chermside to create a quilt.
Quilt will be donated to a charity
You can make more than one block if you like but only one will be judged.

A very talented lady who showed us some of her wonderful Quilts she has done using the quilting rulers and showing a little on how to use them. At our March Bernina Club we showed the new Q20 and customers were able to have a try at using some of the templates that we have for sale. We also had some wonderful show and tell from our customers. It was great to see everyone again for the new year and look forward to our next Bernina Club on 11 May 2016 at the Bernina Sewing Centre, Chermside. All welcome !

We all had such a great time Laughing & Learning with Martyn as he highlighted some of the other uses for Bernina feet in dress making and tailoring which included the Jeans foot #8 ~ Applique foot #23 ~ Piping foot #38. Martyn has a wealth of sewing knowledge which he gladly shared with all of us on the day, thank you so much.

Every year at the 2014 Queensland Quilters Show, Bernina Chermside sponsors First Place in the Category Three Amateur - Small Quilt. The quilt was stunning and also won the prize for best use of colour. Congratulations Helen Walker.
